Almost over cold and
I am not having my inlaws to stay over holiday. This is a huge relief for me. I was going to have my stepmother inlaw standing over me trying to get me to not put onions in anything (WTF?) telling me how her mother does it. etc.
That cold/flu seriously kicked my butt, but I did not take any cough medicine with alcohol in it despite my desperate need to sleep. I was actually so sick I did it on my own. I took mucinex if anyone is wondering about a good alcohol free option.
My poor dog had a an aral hematoma and had surgery yesterday. His ear swole up like a balloon all of the sudden. We are picking him up this morning, I can't wait. Just being without him for one day stunk.

PS I did feel like drinking one night when I was sick and I talked myself down, posted here, called my sponsor and chugged a bunch of sweet tea.
