I'm new here!!!
....and am looking for some friendship and guidance please. I am sick of myself and the ongoing battle with booze that I never seem to win, and I am sick of being secretive and worrying all the time

Welcome Kernoworrier,
I think most of us had got to the point you are at. I did and have been sober now for around 18 months with the support of SR and AA.
I trust that you find a program that works for you.

I was sick and tired of me and everything else to, SR helped me, it can help you too
