so,, here in the uk,, we have a slight prob getting into some of the meetings held in chat,, due to the time differences around this glorious planet.

so a bright young spark named lucy!! came up with the idea of getting to know uk members,, who are on the same time scale,, thats all, no offence intended ,

its just thats its hard for us uk peeps to get into the meetings or indeed just chat,, on chat,, as when the us members,, are on,,, we is all tucked up fast asleep snoring our uk heads off,,,
well some of us are,, me included!!

so,,, can i be so bold and to ask any uk peeps ( or anyone within our timeline ) here if they would like to start a meeting up in chat ,,,at a suitable time for us all to attend???

i know some work,, some have other committments,, me for sure im lucky as i work from home,, and can attend any time,, so im v flexible so,,, how bout it uk lot??

u up for it? i hope it will give us a chance to get to hear other stories in depth,, and to get to know one another more,,, oh and have some fun,,, thats allowed too right??

I've tried chat on other sites, but they're all USA based so the meetings are at wacky times. And the site I've been using most has the GMT times wrong so I keep missing meetings.

Yeah I would be up for that. Not sure if this is a shameless plug or not but the UK NA website has now started holding Skype Meetings as well if anyone would be interested in them. They currently only have the one on Monday evenings but its at 19:30 and all the info for downloading skype and joining the chat group is on there website.

yay,, ok you lot,,, its NOT a meeting,,, we arent allowed that, and we just wanns keep it informal yeh?no hardcore stuff, just general chit chat,, bout how we are doing? hows our recovery going? how our lifes have changed for the better? or indeed some woes too,, ?

I go to nightly f2f meetings that start at 7, so I usually leave the house by 640. If it starts at 6, I can pop in for a little while!
