Vent/rant - Thanksgiving and family stuff, feedback welcome

Backstory: I met my bf at my cousin's wedding a few years ago, bf, my cousin, her husband, and a few other people in the wedding party all went to a university whose claim to fame is having invented the drinking game Beirut, they met in college and sometimes still get together, mainly for this one big football game every November where their school plays a rival school. Last year my bf insisted on going (to the game as well as all the "festivities" revolving around it); I was invited but chose not to go. Just before all the festivities started, I texted my cousin:

Me: Can we keep it sober, my bf has a serious drinking problem.
Her: Ya I know um we can try to keep it calm, people will drink but we can limit it I think. I'll tell my husband to try to have less.
Me: My bf drinks until he blacks out. He can't "limit". And I don't hang around with him when he drinks.
Her: Come to the casino like 6:30 tonight. It will be fun that's where my husband and I are starting out-we got a room there.

I'm not even going to lie, I think I still have some resentment toward my cousin for completely ignoring me like that. And actually, my bf didn't drink alcohol the entire time during the football festivities, but binged after they were over and so was really drunk on Thanksgiving. And my cousin saw how drunk he was then, and she said to me, "oh, I didn't know he was that bad, he might have to go away to one of those places" (I guess she meant rehab?) Anyway, I've been more than a little resentful since then, but my bf and I don't really hang out with them much anymore because they like to drink and go out to bars...and she recently blocked me on Facebook because I called her out, on her wall, for hiding her 30th birthday. I don't know, I guess I wish some things were a little different, but people will be the way they are.
