Silly dreams
Silly dreams
I've had the strangest dreams since I've become sober. Nothing scary or bad, more funny and weird than anything.
Last night I dreamed that I went back to one of my first jobs to visit the employees (which I would never do). A recent ex of mine happened to suddenly be there (which would never happen) showing off pictures of their new partner's "baby bump" (which also would never happen).
I woke up from this and was totally half asleep & groggy, and texted a friend because I thought it really happened, at that point in my waking-up process. I told her I went back to this place and saw what I saw. I was half sleeping still and sure it had really just taken place.
Meanwhile that place of employment no longer even exists, the people in the dream are long gone (geographically) and the baby thing just wouldn't happen.
Now I have a concerned friend wondering if I've finally snapped.
Having a nice hot mug of coffee and staying far away from all internet-capable gadgets until I'm fully awake.

I've always been a very vivid dreamer. Being sober has only increased them. I've had dreams that would probably get me commited to the asylum if the wrong people knew about them!!! lol
I also have "dreams within dreams" where I wake up, or think I wake up and do something, but really I'm still dreaming. For instance, I've had dreams like yours where I wake up and call/text or do something, only later to find out that I was still dreaming and never actually woke up to call/text or do what I thought I woke up and did!!! Weird...lol
