What's going on with you now? I want the same for myself and everyone else, but perhaps if you were a bit more specific, we'd know how to offer some support and advice...

Welcome to SR workerbee! Maybe you can give us a bit more information? I want you to be "okay" too, but I don't know how to respond to your post.

Best Wishes To You!

Hi Workerbee,
We want you to be ok too.
Tell us a little about yourself and what brings you here.
We all started with the same feelings.
Every journey begins with a single step.

OK, forget about the past.
Done, over, kaput!
Now, today, you decide to give up drink, which doesn't agree with you, and do a few nice things for others to make you feel like you are really a nice person who gets a bit out of hand with drink.

Welcome to SR workerbee

You have come to the right place for support. Have you talked to anyone about how you feel about your drinking before, like family or a doctor? There is a lot of help out there it's just a matter of finding what will help you x

Very few of us can stay sober without working a program or having support of some kind. There are lots of recovery methods available. Perhaps you can check them out and see what suits you? AA, Smart Recovery, Life Ring, AVRT, Counseling. Have you considered rehab?

You can stop this and coming to SR is a great start.

Best Wishes To You!

welcome workerbee

You've definitely come to the right place - there's an amazing amount of support here...

you're not alone - and if you spend some time here then, you won't be next weekend

SR helped me change my life - I know you can do the same

Welcome workerbee! We have all been where you are and we all work hard everyday to make sure that we stay okay. We all want you to be okay too, and now that you realize you have a problem with drinking, you need to make a plan so that when Saturday gets here again you are prepared and able to fight the urge to drink!

Keeping reading and posting on here, look up some AA meetings or look into a recovery program that you feel fits you, and start moving forward I know it is easier said then done, but keep fighting and moving forward!

hugs

Maylie
