Greetings from Amsterdam!
Goodmorning my name is Dave and i am a addict. for roughly 6 months i have been sober now, in a 28 day 12 step minnasota model private clinic.
i have learned allot of tools and had a great time there, mostly bicause it was a safe location. after the clinic i went off to a safehouse for 6 months but social pressure got me to bail that plan early...i,m living close to amsterdam now in whit a brother whilst i am looking for a place for my own.
i have a job as a mover for 3 days a week where the boss actually hired me knowing about my struggle, and i saved some money to buy a light truck whit wich i transport raw materials (iron/trash/waste) for cash.
so i keep myself busy and i'm doing fine right now but the method i used to stay sober till now was rather harsch on a social life.
but because i feel great being sober and have no difficulties related to substance abuse i am now ready to focus on how to work on my social problems
well thats all i'd like to share for now.
