She called human services months ago when I relapsed. They came to the door and asked if I wanted help. I said God yes. Spent 30 daze in treatment now I just visit her every few days to let her know I am OK. It is weird where people come into your life. Paid my rent today but she lit up not about the check but I was there sober to pay it.

There is so many good people out there. I have met some on my journey as well. People would not expect. This disease effects almost everyone in some way.

Funny thing..I just got this big book delivered to me sent by my sister. We never communicate. It is like there are moments in your life when things just connect. funny too when I gave my check today she said thanks hon and I replied you're welcome sweets and it was not anything sexual it was just friendship. We have not talked about stuff but i am guessing she is recovering. She sure knows a drunk when she sees one and did a hell of of an intervention.

Whether we are drinking or not, we touch other people, most of the time we aren't aware of it.....

Recovering or not, this woman has been watching you for a while.....she cares about you like so many others!
