Starting Day 9!
I made it through another night - I can't believe I've been sober for going on 9 days! This is the longest I've been sober since 2005! Wow!
Still battling all the emotional demons - but feels so great to wake up sober and with no hangover. I can remember driving to work feeling like I shouldn't be on the road because I was living in a drunk haze. These past 8 days, I've been clearer minded than I can remember! Go sobriety!
Will keep taking it a day, hour, minute at a time...and hoping I make it through another weekend with my (sober) head held high!

I do think the weekend will be tough - for the last 6 years or so I've spent the weekend drinking from pretty much morning until night or until I pass out. This weekend I've planned some errands and a nice, long walk tomorrow morning. I'm trying to keep my mind focused and positive. I can remember 2 weekends ago - drinking until I woke up throwing up. Yuck! Never again.
