Today is day 3 :)
Greetings! I have struggled with addictions since I was about 15 years old and am now 27. I have two DUI's, am facing jail time, lost the love of my life and am living with my parents. I live in the country so AA is hard to attend without a car so Im looking for some online support. I am excited about today because I really think I can do it this time. It has been quite a while since I went 3 days without alcohol.

I suffered till 39 years old, with those same consequences jail, dui's, loss of jobs, love, and all self...
It can be done, and it truly is beautiful not to live in the fog.. Read and post here and I hope you get to AA as much as you can.. And use those links above..

Thanks so much everyone! I wasnt expecting so much support. As you all must know my friends and family have had enough and even if I am actually honest about my addiction and drinking they have trouble believing me. Still nothing to drink today. I had a bad craving half an hour ago so I ate something and took some l-glutamine and came on here and feel better now. I have given my money, debit card and visa to my mom so it is harder for me to get alcohol. thankfully I dont live near a bar or something. I still dont trust myself not to steal money or something but I do feel stronger now than I have in awhile. If i get through today that is HUGE for me . Still learning how to work with this site so please have some patience with me!
