My son has been battling alcoholism... with ferocity or he would not be back with me, his Mother... and recently completed a 5 month treatment which was voluntary and he embraced. .. came out and right back at it. So, he went on antabuse and has been sober 2 weeks, tested it today with a airline size bottle of vodka. He went from looking healthy and clear yesterday to a holocaust survivor image. He is sick as a dog. Flushed to the point his legs are red. vomiting.. heart racing.. and heart sick.. This will only happen this once and then he will be gone again.

At least now he knows he cannot drink, even a little bit, while taking antabuse. He'll either stop taking it, or he'll stop drinking. ((((HUGS))))
