Wish me luck

In a couple days I move down to Florida to go to a halfway house. I am nervous and excited about the move at the same time. I have never lived anywhere else or away from home, but I feel like that experience is exactly what I need to focus my mind on staying clean. It feels good to take action about my recovery!

Sounds like a great decision! It's normal to feel apprehensive about doing something totally different, but I'm sure you'll be fine once you get down there. Good for you!

It is a good move. When I went to impatient I was very afraid but it is exactly what I needed to clear my mind and see the wreckage I have left behind. Remember your past is a guide post not a hitching post. Keep moving forward and it sounds like you are.
