First time for everything i guess.
This is my first time admitting i have a problem and trying to stop it. I am not new to addiction however, it burns like a wildfire through my family.
Im tired of going to bed at night wondering if ill have pills for the next week, or counting in my head when ill be able to get them again.
Ive never gotten them from anyone other than whatever doctor i was seeing at the time. Always took them as prescribed but now after monthly oral surgeries for 6 months, the teeth are gone and the pain is gone.
My support system will be my immediate family as well as online forums. Having dealt with 12 steps, AA, NA and Al-anon i have a pretty good idea of what i am comfortable with and what i believe will work for me.
Some of the stories here are very inspirational. I hope one day I can be the support someone needs.
