Dang the nicest thing today
Dang the nicest thing today
One of my homeless buds came by today to check on me because I have not been out for a bit because I have been sick. He asked if he could get me anything. I keep seeing good everwhere. The guy had to walk 30 minutes.
Well the thing is he lost part of a leg in Nam so it was quite a trip. I made us PBJ sandwitches and offered to drive him back to his camp. He said you are sick I can cover myself. And off he went.
And this man is homeless?
I believe, next to child abuse, this is one of the unforgivable sins. anyone homeless, especially a service man or woman who risked all for their country.
praying.............as always...for the homeless, and the children.

I agree but the truth. few services here and some do not trust them. I am a wounded vet and I do not trust them but not homeless. A recovering drunk true. But it was a wonderful act and I feel better.
I am sorry they still haven't come up with at least some services for the homeless
and Vets. Sounds as if it is the same as it was when I left it.
And the bigger city to the north of you didn't have many services back then, and
probably do not to this day.
Fitz if you will PM me your address I would like to send you a check to help out
with the food you buy as I have some fond memories of CC and used to help also
when I lived there.
Love and hugs,
