I am two days off xanax. I have my good moments and my bad moments. I am doing a lot of praying. The worst feeling is that of my heart about to beat out of my chest. When I feel anxiety coming on I try and do something that takes my mind off of it. I totally stopped the xanax. For myself and my son. I've been on various doses for almost a year. My doctor doesn't follow me closely. So I am trying to do this with some medical knowledge and a lot of prayer. Please help me. I am determined to do this. Two days sober.

I have no experience of benzos but most people will tell you getting a doctor on board is a pretty darn good idea.

If your Dr isn't up to scratch maybe it's time to find a new one?
