For some reason Blackbirds really freak me out! More of a Wood Pigeon girl myself
Actually, one thing that never fails to amuse me is seeing young kids chasing pigeons. It's hilarious!
Things that make me happy... snuggling up on the sofa to read a good book, sober and fully able to read the words. Nothing like it.

I love the taunting song that Blackbirds sing to each other at dusk, bordering on territorial and come and get me....their bright yellow beaks open and close like origami - and the way they swish the leaves on the ground under hedges. hoping to find bugs hiding underneath - rather clever as birds go :>)
And I have to add one of my favourite songs before I go to bed:
FLEETWOOD MAC SONGBIRD (Christine Mcvie) - YouTube
