where can i find the Big Book?

where can i find the Big Book?

Hello everyone I'm going into town tomorrow to get the big book just wondered what section it would be in? I think there's only 1 book shop where I live so hope its there. Thanks

you may have better luck goin to a meeting to get one. theres usually one or two. at a meeting to be given or bought. good on ya for wanting one,too!

Wow wish there was a book shop near me that stocked them. Apart from pdf's online meetings are likely to be the cheapest. You may even get one for free.

I have never seen the Big Book in a bookshop here in the UK.

They are always for sale at meetings.

You can also order one online.Go to the AA website,click on the members area,then onto shop,the Big Book costs £8.

I don't know what book stores are available where you are, but I think I saw it in the self help section last time I was browsing that section. If not self help, maybe psychology.

My local Barnes & Noble stores have it listed as in stock but I don't know if you have that store there.

I used to be a literature chair for a large group. Most of AA's literature can only be purchased from AA direct or from an AA group (I think.) Most larger Alano's will have an AA library where material can be purchase. Just go to AA.org to purchase online or your district office will have them in stock
