trying to build stregth back up. Serious flu sucks but better every day. My 92 year old mom had said get a flu shot, I said no way. Moms always know. Was out and about now just on SR. The freaky thing the chills and fever I've had feels like withdrawals. The mind can play funny tricks. I think there is alcoholic PTSD. Or at least it ties into the PTSD I already have.

Just remember that what you are feeling is normal Fitz and you will recover :>)

I must be one of the freaks of nature :>) in that when I had the flu jab for the very first time last year (because I work in a hospital and it was mandatory) I was actually "given THE FLU" for the very first time in my life...I was so ill - superwoman was so very ill :>) so I am in two minds about it.

Yea that happened to me years ago why i avoided it. But to start to feel normal I really appreciate.

I'm a big advocate of the flu shot - I'm one of the the at risk folks anyway.

I got the flu the first time, but none since...even when others around me were dropping like ninepins...
