Surrending my pilot seat....

I have finally surrendered and realized that God has to be the pilot and I will happily move over to the copilot seat.

Now, I have 2 potential different job opportunities. Although I can make far money working with my husband, money is not my motivation. Independence is my goal.

I have decided to join our prison ministry. Something I have wanted to do for a while but was too "distracted" to do it.

And now my pastor's wife is having a 6 week class on "Breaking Free From Fear" by Kay Arthur which is exactly what I need and God has provided it for me.

Good is good...all the time!

My life became a whole lot easier and a lot more beautiful when I finally surrendered and let God lead me to wherever the heck I was supposed to go.

What a journey it has been, what wonderful adventures await me each day, and the lovely thing is, all I had to do was let go of thinking I was queen of the world.

Hugs

((LMN)) - Just what I needed to read today I'm stressing about running out of money and getting a job. I needed to be reminded that as long as I keep doing the next right thing, it will work out. It always has, but I'm a slow learner too

Hugs and prayers,

Amy

I guess we all learn the hard way - I'm not too swift either As long as we find our way, trust that there is a plan and there is nothing we can do to control the outcome for others. We can manage ourselves and walk our path one day at a time.

I also had to give up EVERYTHING again last night. I realized I was still carrying this burden. Laid it down, no longer mine to carry.

I'm a slow learner too - plus I have to be reminded every single day. This reminds me of the saying "God steers, I row".

Honey....we're heading to the promised land. All that counts is that we are putting one foot in front of the other. We're gonna get there!

Glad your goal of independence may be coming together LMN, I know that will ease a huge burden.
