This Cruel World

This cruel world has made me see
only the darkness that shall be
for those of you who think its cruel for me to make my exit out
out of this cruel world
How cruel it would be as for me, to leave my family,let them be
to call it selfish some may say to want to end it my own way
Those have never ever seen the dark that totally enshrouds my pour heart
To think of only every day of when I'll exit, or how to stay
How to keep moving on, when not even the light of dawn
will let it help me carry on
This cruel world oh how I know thee
why do you totally surround me?
To carry burderns such as this my blackened thoughts know only this
You totally encompass me, with pain and fear and thoughts of doubt
that life can be something more than agony
This cruel world oh yes she is to let some people live like this
To only ever know sorrow and grief never once a momment of bliss
You've turned me now you cruel world into something
not quite sound
To stay here in this world of hate,
blackened dead, my fate awaits
calling me towards the light
to end this horror to end this plight
I fight with all my might to hang on to those dearly tight
but some days its harder to bare that this cruel world has trapped me here
This cruel world please let me be, please let me live in harmony
or let me escape to a new begining that your cold hands cannot reach.
