Why are you in a tavern?...Aren't you kind of new to this sobriety gig?

No way I would be sitting at a bar. Get out and do something!

"If you keep hanging out in a barber shop eventually you are going to get a haircut"

I'd leave the Tavern.

Being in a bar is a recipe for disaster IMHO or at the very least, torture so early in..

I never needed a bar to be a cranky b*tch but it sure helped. Get out and stay out.

Im glad that you made it out of that Tavern in one piece. Going to a bar suggests that I might be entertaining the idea to drink. That's just me.

I appreciate you only wanted a water Lola - but I can guarantee you, nothing would have made me more resentful or less unsure about what I wanted in early recovery than sitting in a bar.

There's other places to get water and diet coke.... I'd be inclined to go with those for now

Yes but my friend wanted a beer and I live in a very small town there was few places to get free ice water and the festival wanted 2.50 for a bottle of water it was worth the 2.50 to sit there for a sec and really wasn't all that difficult.....this time....trust me it will be a long time before I do it again!

I wouldn't be sitting in a bar, no matter what they served or what I was drinking. Honestly, I think that's such a bad idea. And, I would have been super cranky if I was.

Doesn't matter now anyhow, its over and done with and the man reason I was cranky is because the kids were crazy and I wanted a drink and did not give in so all well that ends well!
