Currently walking up a large hill surrounded by mountains and overlooking a lake. It was nice to wake up with a clear head. This race is filled with obstacles, and although I may be one of the last to finish I will, and I will also enjoy the event and time with my sister in law. Maybe it is the scenery or my current state of mind, but, I feel like the obstacles I will overcome today represent where I am in my life. Happy Saturday everyone!

I finished!! Also, shared my decision to stop drinking and get help with my sister in law. We had a great time at the race and plenty of time to chat.

That's awesome! Are you in an outdoor adventure race or something? I'm an avid hiker and I'd love to get involved in something like that.

sounds like fun! i wanted to go hiking this weekend but it's raining and miserable out. booo!

It was an outdoor adventure race, they have them and others all arou d the country. It was challenging, but fun. Planning on a few more and training to walk/run a half marathon. They have a triple crown series In San Diego, I am going to complete all three. I was always active, and have done several half and full marathons (never fast!!!!) I want to get back to that again. I know I have an addictive personality, figure exercise is a much healthier addiction!!!
