For a time . . .
So the AS is residing in the half-way house. Like Washbe, I am finally able to breathe. I feel he is "safe" for a time . . . I am in process of trying to arrange for a psychiatrist and counselor for him, but due to his lack of medical insurance, this may prove to be prohibitive. Haven't exhausted possibilities there but these things take time.
Tonight is Al-Anon again - I find myself counting the minutes to the next meetings. Last Monday was my first meeting with a counselor - VERY BENEFICIAL. I also plan to begin some sort of gentle exercise - Yoga? or something similar. My work seems especially rewarding lately, for the simple fact that it takes my mind off of the impossible problem (even just temporarily).
Now that the weather is cooler, I'm sipping Sweet Dreams tea, which is very calming. Eating chicken noodle soup and listening to a great bible teacher on my ipod. Reading codependency books. Reading SR. Some of the most profound teaching can be found on this website- seriously. It just blows me away.
Petting & nuzzling my sweet soft doggie OFTEN.
Trying to heal, from the inside - out, at every opportunity. God is so good.

I'm glad you're feeling some relief.
I'm in the same area you're in and depending on what county you live in, there are some good options for recovery with out insurance. IM me if you want any assistance. I'll do my best to help.
