Did something tonight I haven't done in a long time :)

I ate dinner with my family! Normally, this is the time I start to drink and I don't sit with my kids. Instead, I am cleaning up (wine in hand), getting ready to put the kids to bed, sit my butt on the couch and eat my dinner at 11pm. Not tonight!

It's day 2 for me. I haven't felt awful today but my heads a little cloudy and I am so hungry, which I wish I wasn't. I have to conduct an online webinar for my job an hour from now, so my plan is to do that, read a bit, and go to sleep...oh yea, I have been exhausted today!

That's about it...hope everyone has a great day tomorrow.

That great, stay strong, there will be good days and there will be bad days, but stay strong and don't be affraid to ask for help, don't try to do it all alone.

It's always a good plan to make changes in your routine and they can make a big difference in your recovery. Good for you for making it to Day 2.

I've been meeting with my mom every Thursday for dinner since I got sober. Thats about 75 dinner dates that would not have happened if I was still drinking/using.

Day 2 for me too. Congrats.

I also did something today that I haven't done in a very long time. I stopped by the corner gas station next to my office after work, and bought a bottle of water for the ride home as opposed to the six pack I usually slam on the way home...
