Hey everyone!

So I am planning on going to my 1st al anon meeting tomorrow afternoon. But my question is, is there a big turnout for 12pm meetings on a weekday? Or am I better off going to a night meeting? I am 20 years old and would like if the crowd had some people around my age.

It may depend on your location. If it is close to a college campus, there may be people your age there between classes.

I attended a meeting in a retirement community. The average member was 20+ years older than I.

I felt warmly accepted in their group and deeply appreciated their wisdom!

Al-Anon encourages to attend at least six meetings and to try different groups, if possible, anyway. Attend both. Especially when you need it.
