Welcome to SR Alloy,

Seeing the Dr is a positive first step. It is likely they will refer you to, or inform you about, various services available to you in your local area. They may even suggest you attend an AA meeting. I know several doctors in my area have been known too. I wish you the very best in your recovery alloy. It's obviously early days for you but if you want it enough then it will get easier as the time progresses.
