:rotfxko So after I realized I had a problem, I took the rest of the week to focus on not drinking. I decided that at the start of the 2nd week I was going to start exercising again. My exercise of choice is qigong and tai chi. I got into my first stance, took one deep breath, and started laughing.
I don't know what struck me, but I was falling on the floor, cracking up like I just heard the funniest joke in the world. It's very nice to be overcome with a happy emotion rather than fear, sadness, or self-loathing. It took until day 8, but I now can really tell it's worth it. I don't know the last time I laughed like that.
