Today is day 11 sober
Today is day 11 sober. I am back to a to bed early/rise REALLY early schedule. I've worked out 6 days straight. I wish I could say I'm following a strict diet but I can't seem to - just trying to eat as clean as I can (eating actual food instead of liquid makes me feel full all the time. Working out so much makes me snacky).
I'm drinking lots of water and am enjoying quality sleep - its been awhile since that's happened. I have noticed I am starting to glow a little but I think it's just finally being hydrated really for once. I'm a little bloated the last couple days but I'm pretty sure I'm about to start my period. The biggest change so far has been my moods. I feel very positive and energetic lately. Things still annoy me but I'm able to handle it without blowing up or getting angry.
*I wish the extra weight I've gained over the last year would magically melt away but it appears I will struggle with that. I figure it will work itself out if I continue to work out and I've cut all those alcohol cals out. And as long as I don't replace with a bunch of food lol. I think my body just needs to stabilize and remember how to work and metabolize without alcohol. Probably after a couple months. The one other thing (kinda gross): my digestive system is back on track. Thanks for listening. Everyday I have to remember why I want to be a sober and happy person :-) so far, few cravings but ones I can handle. I know I will hit days when the cravings are strong. I will use my support system to overcome those days.

Remember that alcohol has a lot of empty calories. The excess weight will go away with a regular, healthy diet. Alcohol Calories
