Well i'm doing a health drink. Just a brain disorder but the mind still goes there sometimes. Like one won't hurt but learning better. But always turn to SR and licorice. Many months sober now but have a sweet tooth.

I try to remember "if you don't have a drink, you won't **need** a drink. It seems to help me remember how I go from one drink, to desperately NEEDING one. That helps me.

Ha ha fitz, me too. The other night I came home to my empty shack on wheels and thought...I could have just one...HA! I laughed at myself and said "who are you kidding?"

I drink a lot of cocoa these days. That first few warm sips feel pretty sweet going down AND...by the time I reach the bottom of the mug, my tummy feels pleasantly full instead of my brain going into freak mode about how soon can i get more.

What a novel idea...that having a drink can SATIATE a craving rather than leading to a larger one.

Then I got a call from a drunk friend and thought to myself "why would I even want to GO there?"

Well made it to almost 5am drinking a tropical orange drink and don't have a desire to drink 4 or 5 of them. Funny how lack of booze can take the thirst away.
