She told me she loves me this morning

After my last round of lies and broken promises I thought she would bolt. I couldn't blame her if she did because she is a great woman and she deservs the best. I am a good guy myself..... When I stay away from alcohaul. For some reason lying becomes part of the fun of drinking for me. It's crazy... I just change from a good honest guy with my priorities in line to not giving a damn about anything.
My fear- my wife does. It understand the alcohaulic and after a few weeks of sobriety may make me feel like I can handle it. She sees me when I am sober and does not understand that my values change quite a bit when I drink.
I have to be strong and never foreget (AGAIN) that I am powerless against it and that my life will become unmanageable if I do not leave alcohaul alone.

That is a very strong woman. Anyone should feel honored to have such a strong woman standing behind them. It takes a strong man to admit he is wrong and an even stronger man to get help for his problems. Keep up the good work!

Not to make any fun of you, but I smiled when I saw the word alcohol spelled alcohaul, as in to haul us.

When you understand the word driven, and how alcohol drives us...alcohaul seems very appropriate!

All the best LD

Happy to see you are feeling the love.

Look for the love and goodness...as it is all around us.

You can become honest dog today! Then stay honest dog a day at a time. See day 3 is better than day one or two. Just never forget day zero and work the program every day.

I like alcohell myself. My classmate came up with that. You should join class of Sept. if you haven't already.
It really helps to be with same time/ same mind, etc.
To celebrate milestones & really get to know people.
