Update on son
Dear SR Family,
My son got his 60-day chip tonight and a sponsor. He had only a couple of dollars on him to put in the basket at the meeting, so someone there bought him the NA book. He and his step-dad are at the driving range to quietly celebrate.
He has a job he starts in a couple of weeks (part-time backstage theater work), and is scheduled for second interviews on two others (full-time positions).
My heart is too full to write anymore. Your prayers and loving support have seen me through some of the darkest times I have ever known.
For those who do not know my story, I can only say at this time, my son who was dead now lives.
Blessings, strength and peace to all.
Ellen

Ellen, that is wonderful news and I know the joy your heart must feel.
Live in today, embrace the good feelings of having your son back, and know that if you hear a gentle roar in the background here...it's the sound of the crowd roaring hurrah!!!!
If you can, one day soon sneak your son a hug and tell him it's from the Posse of Mamas.
Hugs

Dear GardenMama,
We've been faring so fabulously I've been hesitant to write about it. I've been relishing each moment, for that is all we have.
When not so overwhelmed with gratitude will post more about how things have been going.

Dear Ellen, what comes to mind of late is the soundtrack to "Bonanza", since the Mamma Posse is clearing the path with heavenly warfare against the enemy

Coming out of lurkdom today, finally. My son is a 22 yo RA also. I've been following your son's story and am so happy that he is embracing and working his recovery. Enjoy the happy hopeful feelings- you have earned them.
