Feeling well for the first time in about 10 daze and went for a walk in the outback and stepped in horse doo, the story of my life. But I went on the walk and I stepped sober. Sobriety doesn't mean you become smarter. I was so busy looking around I didn't look where I was walking. Maybe a lesson there. But it does clean up. Somehow I related it to my addiction. You don't watch out it turns to **** but you can clean it up.

Dropped out of college. Lost my job and wife due to alcohol. Maybe it was going to happen anway. Guess I Will never know. Trying sobriety for real this go round.

Funny thing is i was thinking about watching out for horse dropping but got so caught up in my head about being sober and being here now I forgot to be. I know there is a lesson here but its horse sh*t.

Whew. I must relate it to addiction too, Fitz, because when I first saw the thread I thought "slipped in a pile of horse poop" was a metaphor for relapse. Kinda funny now. I should have known you'd be going strong. Way to be.
