Hi
Sorry if this is in the wrong place but I just wanted to introduce myself as im new.
I'm 34 years old and I used drugs from the age of 13, I used drugs at an early age as they gave me confidence and made me feel like I was a different person to the one I really was.
All through my life I've gone from one drug to another but my real problems started with cocaine, dont get me wrong I had bad experiences with all drugs but I suppose I hit my real rock bottom on cocaine.
Any way after trying and trying to stop and almost losing my partner and 4 children on numerous occasions, I found C.A (cocaine anonymous).
I went into those rooms in a terrible state and once I heard people talking of god and higher powers Ill be honest I nearly ran for the hills, but I was on my knees I was ****** and I had nowhere else to go.
I gave myself to the 12 step programme that is outlined in the big book of alcoholics anonymous.
I've now been clean and sober for nearly 5 months and loving life in recovery.
Thanks for taking time to read this and I look forward to chatting to you all.
