I'm sat at home watching coronation street and just got a text asking if I want to go for a pint but I'm glad I told him no I'm staying away from pubs now, 2nd AA meeting tomorrow and I definitely need it lol

Well done matey, today you managed to avoid it but posting on here shows maybe you was slightly tempted which of course you will be in early days my point is you need a mental defence against the first drink get a sponsor work the steps and then give it all away. Good luck and gob bless.

I think it's great you've only been to one meeting and you already feel like you need one. I was in bad shape when I stopped....I needed one everyday...It was the only place I could calm my mind down. It was like I was safe there.
