31 days sober!
I am on day 31 of my sobriety! This is the most sober time I've ever had, so I'm super excited to be here. I am feeling a lot better, and a lot more comfortable with my sobriety now. I have days where I feel really good and high energy, and others where I am low energy and feel a little off, not myself. I am hoping that will go away soon.
I have finally accepted that I will never drink again, and feel confident in myself that I will stick to that decision. It feels like a huge weight has lifted. I never have to worry about being hungover again. No worries about possibly getting a dui at some point in the future because I know I won't be drinking, so it's not a possibility. It feels wonderful.
The cravings have pretty much gone away for me time. I'm not planning to drink or thinking about some point in the future where I might be able to drink again. I just know it's not going to happen. I'm sure I'll have moments when some event pops up that makes me tempted to go and want to drink, and I will deal with that when it happens. But I will not drink. I'm so glad the cravings have gone for now though. It's such a relief.
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone on SR. Without this site, I wouldn't be here right now. I so appreciate all the support. Good luck to everyone in your journey to sobriety. I know you can do it!

Congratulations to you, Tzivia, that is great news! That feeling of relief that comes the moment that vow is made to quit, to really quit, is a wonderful feeling. Hope you continue to find the confidence in yourself that takes you forward. Well done.

Congrats! That is a great accomplishment and an even better attitude. I understand that sometimes our resolve weakens as we get more and more days behind us, so stay the course and remember that you posted this, link back to it if you have to so you can remember how you felt today.
Again, major cudo's to you!

Tzivia,
Congrats on your day 31! It really feels great, doesn't it? I'm on day 55, after nearly 30years of heavy daily drinking, so you're right there with me!!!
I also am feeling much better, and also have some off-days, where I feel a bit out-of-kilter. My cravings have also passed for the most part. SR also helped me through, right from the start. I dould not have done it without SR and AA. I'm just sitting here with a HUGE SMILE on my face!!! I love my new sober life!!!!
I agree with Grace2 and myhappyproject .... you do have such a great positive attitude. Keep it up!!!
