Welcome Back Food!!!!

Pizza, chicken, cornbread, sweet potatoes, scrambled eggs.....real food is my friend again....where the heck has it been? Cookin meals to feed the fam, but my meal was a cold can....so toss it off, pour it out, start the healing, scream and shout!!

Good for you!! It's amazing how we find total joy in things when we get clean and sober!

Hugs and prayers,

Amy

YAY food!! It's sooo enjoyable to eat real meals again instead of drinking the "liquid bread", as my chinese friend calls it. Go food go!!

Me too! If I went out to dinner in the past, I would be so full of beer and so drunk that the meal was a waste. And if I went to the bar after work I would skip dinner entirely, to get right to the buzz.

I LOVE food now!

I know, Kae. I once lived on Potato chips & dip, or perhaps cheetos. Cheese is healthy, right? Glad you are enjoying your tastebuds again.

I also didn't eat much so I could feel the alcohol more and also to save calories for drinking. Now I am happy I can eat some carbs again and not gain weight.

Oh yeah, I love to eat. Love to cook, too. It's nice to be able to eat instead of drink...and food TASTES better sober, doesn't it????

Cook on, peeps! Love reading these delicious posts. My former "liquid" diet sucked hard! Love eating dinner now and of course, love cooking it! Speaking of dinner - time to hit the kitchen - happy cooking, friends!!
