I've now been sober for just over 6 months now and thought family life was going great, however my husband who has been fantastic all these years keeps casting up the past and how my drinking has affected him. I understand totally that I can't expect him to forgive the past as quickly as I am getting better but he only brings it up in an argument.
When I try to talk about things rationally, when everything is fine he reassures me that it's all in the past and we're ok.
Totally confused now.

Yes, he said he didn't mean what he said and was just angry at the time. We've decided to spend the day tomorrow together, no kids, work nothing. Maybe we'll talk more tomorrow.
