GoodThings I Am Aware of Today Related to the Alcoholic
I tend to only focus on the negatives and worry myself into a tail spin.
So here are some "good things" I am aware of today:
I believe my grandson is sober today
I believe he is working a program
I know he has been exposed to life-changing beliefs.
He has lots of support and guidance.
He has many people who love him.
He says he has a relationship with God.
He had bodywork recently.
He looks healthy.

This is lovely. I am going to change my title a little bit to read good things I am aware of today related to the disease of alcoholism
1. I have needs and wants and it is okay to want them to be met
2. I have a recovery system in place
3. I have many people that love me
4. I am taking an awesome training and learning about not just how I interact in the world, but how I have interacted with my loved ones that struggle with this disease
5. There is recovery choices out there for my loved ones who struggle with this disease, and while they are living there is a chance for recovery
6. I have many people that I love
7. I can read and enjoy the worlds that reading brings
