Always feel sad and depressed
Most of my friends drink as well as I but usually I'm the one that sometimes get the most drunk. Last Saturday I was drinking for 12 hours and i started at noon ihad a lot of beer and can't remember anything until the next day around 1 in the afternoon. I did embarrassing things and I am sick of it. I don't know how I can be sober I want to try to be clean and redeem myself to my friends and aquiatances.
Welcome to SoberRecovery!
You sound like you're still in that experimental stage, at least when it comes to testing you limits.
Don't let that stuff get you down too much, we all went through it.
What makes you more sad and depressed, getting sober or continuing to drink?
The thought of staying sober used to freak me out, that's why we do it one day at a time and celebrate those 24 hours sober.

Welcome Bluemaniak -
I can relate.... I was always one of the last to leave the party. Once I started drinking, I didn't seem to have an "off" button. Glad you're looking at your relationship with alcohol (when we ignore it, it just gets worse). I've learned a lot here about getting/staying sober and received so much support - I know you will too!

It just sucks deep down you know that u think your friends are embarassed of you you can't remember most nights or meeting people I hate the person I was ANSI never wanna do it again
I can also relate completely. I was always the drunkest one out of all of my friends. The "entertainment" so to speak. I hope you understand that you are worth way more than that... and that sick feeling in your stomach? It goes away everytime you say no to a drink. You have strength. Listen to yourself before it gets worse. You are better than being remembered as the drunken entertainment
