it starts today.
i'm tired of being addict and today on my birthday i'm deciding to quit drinking. i know it won't be easy but i have my dreams to fulfill and destiny to reach and i need to work for that. i'll also work on my mental health. it's my first attempt to get sober and i'll recover as that's the only way.i just wanted to say this. thanks you SR.

Welcome to SR and happy birthday! What a great day for getting sober.
I was like you - I knew that there were things out there waiting for me, things that I always wanted to do, experience and achieve, yet I knew that alcohol was holding me back. I'm glad you are determined to be sober - that's the most essential thing in all of this. Remember always that you can do it and believe in yourself 100%. Your mental health will improve more than you can even imagine - I thought I was going to be forever depressed and anxious and four months of sobriety has proved me totally wrong.
