It's the little things.....
So, last night was supposed tone the great prime viewing for the meteor shower, however I totally missed is, because it rained and was cloudy all night. Not because i was drunk. I didn't eat a full dinner with the hubby at 8 pm, be ause I was full of popcorn from taking my kids to the movies at 4pm. Not because I was drunk. I helped my mother in law with her computer last night, because I hadn't been doing my typical Sunday wine drinking! I woke early today, still with a headache from the weather, not from a hangover. My pee isn't dark amber. My eyes aren't puffy, my face isn't bloated. I remember everything. Im not craving high calorie, salt loaded foods. I'm drinking water to flush me, not hydrate me. I don't have an mysterious bumps or bruises from the weekend, and I have made no stupid texts or drunk dialed calls. Nothing to apologize for, that I don't remember. Ahhhhh, it is the little things today that I am truly grateful for! Happy Monday everyone!

Oh and Saturday night I went to a gathering at a girlfriends house and successfully drank water, while the wine was flowing, and had no problem not drinking it. Besides that, 8pm on a typical Saturday I would have either been at the neighbors house throwing back some drinks or sitting at home telling kids it's time to go to bed, because I was half in the bag and ready for bed myself...... I like this side of the coin much better!
