older posts missing

just a quick admin question...I went to look for my first post here and can't find it...once you go over a certain number of posts do the oldest ones drop off? if so that's too bad, I would have saved my first post to remind myself of some things...

anyone know the answer on this one?

All your posts will still be there...but a search will only show you the last 500, leslie.

If you know the forum you first posted in and the date you first posted you could find it that way, going back until you get the right page

I checked your join date, Leslie, and yours should all be here...and I am guessing you found them by now.

As a sidenote to the oldtimers...like me...somewhere around 2005 we lost this entire forum in what we call "the Great Crash" and all posts (on this forum) prior to that time were lost with the forum. Other forums were okay but it was one sad mess for a bit, lol.

CO, my husband knows very little of technology. As little as I know, I like it like that. Sometimes I tell him the remote needs to find more stations in order to function properly and then change it to a movie I want to a TV show I enjoy...and I think he "almost" believes me.
