Prodigy

Three weeks today, It has been a pleasant ride thus far, mostly because I only drank for 3 days to break my previous sobriety period, so no bad withdrawals. Today I got my first craving as far as I can remember, I was in a pizza place and saw countless bottles of wine. I couldn't help but think "Man that would be awesome if I had all that wine" and I don't even like wine! (Well I liked anything that was available to get me drunk).

Anyway, I am happy that I am sober and am looking forward to another 3 weeks and hopefully many more of sobriety. I believe my longest period of sobriety is 35-37 days, which was through rehab and a period after.

This site has been very helpful, and I have even gotten a bit back into AA with a meeting on Saturday night. I will most likely attend another tomorrow after work, and then maybe the daytime meeting on my day off Tuesday.
