Well done for reaching day 2 and hang in there, it took me about 3 weeks to get my sleep back a bit at a time. It got better in the first week and then the second and third and by the 4 week it was totally amazing and now I sleep great, so stick with and trust me it does get better.

You have my sympathies, 427.

I've never had a lot of luck when it comes to insomnia, although I have gone through stretches of time when I am able to rise early after a reasonably long night of sleep. The sleeplessness has got to be one of the more frustrating withdrawal symptoms: so many other things seem to hinge on getting adequate rest. I am really hoping to get some relief soon. *-*

I hate this. Been up for nearly 24 hours now. Hopefully the next 24 will be much easier. At least that will be day 3. Best wishes to the other insomniacs out there.

Still awake.... Thanks for everyone's input and support. Figure my body will sleep eventually, right? Trying not to fight it. Guess I'll check out some other folks

I had a good 15 hours to contemplate everything, glad I can keep my mind moving again. Couldn't do a thing yesterday, lights, sounds... no more of that for good.

hope all you guys will return to normal pretty soon - it's a common problem but it passes for most of us pretty quickly
