Day 5 and still sober. The evenings are tuff, but the mornings are great! Feeling good. Thanks for all the support. Going away for 2 weeks this weekend with family and I'm nervous about it.
Hey! Great!
Don't worry, you can stay sober anywhere you want to. It isn't the place or the temptations, it is your decision. Drinking I can't control it. Sober I dang sure can, and do. Mornings are what makes it worth it first. But later, when the real healing is done, we become like reborn new healthier people.
Keep posting, keep sober, keep the faith that you can. Because you already did it, just repeat as needed!

Congratulations on 5 days Mammy
I agree with Anna that a plan for your vacation is essential...think of some of the challenges you might face and try and think of ways around those challenges?

Way to go for reaching five days!
I have found that being off from work and on a different schedule actually helps break an old habit. Maybe you will find the same to be true! Regardless, stick with this. I know you can do it.
