Hi everyone
I'm new here so I thought I would introduce myself. I'm an addict and usually attend NA meetings but haven't been able to lately due to my depression (my psychiatrist thinks I have post-traumatic stress disorder and borderline personality disorder, I disagree with the latter). I know a forum is no substitute for counselling or in-person support but I figured this would be a good place to get some help and hopefully offer some too. Lately I've been taking codeine which is problematic but I am hoping to stop now, since I've run out of the script and my Dr will not give me another. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to discuss illicit drugs here so I won't, but suffice to say I was using IV a few months ago but have quit so that's one good thing. I also have a problem with alcohol and benzos.
