Back again
It's been a long time since I've been on here. I was doing great and was sober for about a month. Since then, my drinking problem has been back in full force. I really don't want to go into details... but it's scary what happens to me sometimes. I am making myself so unhappy by continuing on this downward spiral of self destruction. Today is day one... starting over. Please God, help me, I need you so badly. Please don't let me lose everything over alcohol.
Hey Kat welcome back.
At least you are back here at SR, and you are going to give it another try. Good luck to you.
I hit my bottom last year with liver disease, its not been easy climbing back, but it is definately do-able!

Glad your back. No need to go into details, I know it all to well. Lived in that torture for far to long. And after each slip I was off and running just as every time I left off.
I hope you find a program , so that program can find you.

Thank you all for your responses. Someone from the chat room suggested SMART, so I've been looking into that. I think the excersizes that they have could be helpful. And they also have online meetings. Also thinking about therapy, but don't know if I can afford it, and is something I will be looking into. AA kind of scares me. I'm pretty introverted, and going into a room of people and talking about things is fairly intimidating. Educating myself through books would also be a good idea. Any reading recommendations and other advise are very much welcomed.
