I used Meth for about 4 years smoke, IV turned into a piece of s... got my gf pregnant and its been 5 years sense I decided not to be a junky dad. Not saying I haven't struggled with addiction I had gotten into pain pills( still want em )in Houston on lunch break I could just go hit a pain clinic. Its been a couple months with out those.but anyway I have any addiction problem I moved to Seattle and lucky me they have casinos everywhere I went before work spent $50 and left went to get in the car and picked up a sunglasses case start driving open it up it has a pipe and a lot of Meth a lot. I tried to throw it away but now I've been smoking it heavy for 3 months probably $100 a day I've been promoted to management and doubled my pay (I haven't spent any money don't eat much just treat the kids as much as possible) well Im about out I'm not gonna be able to perform at work like I was be detoxing acting like an ass I'm gonna lose my job I can't let my kids and wife see me insane from not having it what do I do? I'm sorry for the post with out reading first I'm on break and I have to get back to work before someone does something stupid.thank you for your time and any info.

My daughter detoxed off meth 2 times She is now clean in AA and NA and has been going to school and work and living a great life. The people there have helped her so much. I think you should tell your wife I'm sure she knows somethings up if she knows you. We always think that we are fooling people. If you have insurance go to detox You say you will lose your job But your going to anyway if you start running around trying to score and running out and acting like a nut case. Believe me Ive seen it. If you go to and NA meeting and tell your story The people there have alot of great resources
Youve been here before there is no magic remedy. You have to fess up Ask for help but most of all you have to really want to clean up. If you really want to get and stay clean you will find that there are many out there that will help.I Wish you all the best of luck I have struggled and am still struggling with many different forms of addiction so I know how you feel . The anxiety and panic and everything else that goes along with it. I'm currently tapering off a nasty oxy habit and have found he SR boards to be of great help and the people very kind

I know nothing about meth or how best to de tox from it.

Be honest with your wife? And could you take a week off of work or something( tell them your "sick")? I know it's gonna suck but unless you go into hiding what other option is there? And I'd probaly go to a NA meeting or two, maybe they can give you support. Just my opinion. Good luck man, Peace.
