Two months, more sober than most judges!
Haven't posted in a little bit. I've pulled a disappearing act before, so I thought I'd update you on how things are going!
Today marks two months that I have been clean from all alcohol and drugs! I am currently in phase two of my IOP treatment, and attending at least three AA meetings a week. I have a sponsor, and working the steps- almost done with step four right now, I hope to be done with that today. I have been back to work fulltime for two weeks now, and the job is going great.
Life has already begun to change for the better for me in so many ways. I am rekindling my relationship with my beautiful wife, who has been astoundingly supportive through this process. I am actually feeling great about myself, and life for the first time in longer than I can remember.
Thank you guys so much for the support and understanding. It is you, and folks like you everywhere that make the dream of sobriety possible. Thank you so much everyone. I really believe in my heart that I have made this change for good, and I couldn't be happier!

That's wonderful Rudie. Keep it up, it only get's better!!!
I just got a new job, one that I am going to LOVE, working with wolves. WOW - how exciting! I am seeing miracle after miracle, and I have 7 months of sobriety. I keep thinking, do I want to go back to that depressed person, that always felt miserable? Or do I want to continue to be a strong person, working the program of AA, and feeling the power of my Higher Power in my life??
You guessed it..........
