Codeine c/t
My advice would be the slogan - "this too shall pass".
The good stuff and the bad stuff - it ALL passes. When you head starts telling you it's okay to use again it's just this once and eff it all it just hurts too much and my head is too loud and my skin is crawling and you feel like you're going to combust...YOU WONT. But you will never believe that until you make it through.
I hope this helps.

Hi Sarah
It's against our rules to give to much in the way of medical advice here, but I think it's common sense to say take it easy, rest up avoid stimulants like caffeine etc - and see a Dr if you think you need help.
They can help with with a taper schedule for example

Thanks guys! That does help. I have gone c/t before and although it has been difficult, I have been able to do it. I find with tapering its too easy to just keep using. Although definately an addiction my use was not so high this time so I think I should be okay. I have done the epsom salt baths thing etc and just trying to chill out, if I can get to tommorrow night I will have turned a corner.
Actually quite proud of how well I am doing this time!
Thanks again

Settling in for a difficult night. My mind is racing and I feel like I've got a snake running through my arms
But I have my doona (its winter here in oz) heat pack, tea, mineral water and ***** cat for company. I know I can do it.
